What's Worth Standing Up For?

I believe the purpose of schools are to provide students with a valuable education. Schools help shape our future because our students are our future. If students aren't getting a proper education, what do you think our future will look like in a couple years from now? Everything we do for our students will come back to us and will impact all of us. Schools aren't just about learning about specific subjects, but also about helping you grown as a person and preparing you for the real world. Almost everyone in the world gets an education, it's not the same for everyone, but we all get taught the basics. You don't only learn, but also interact with the people around you, which also helps you develop communication skills that will definitely be needed. Schools help you develop many skills that will shape you into your own unique person and that will help you be successful.

The marginalized students are the students from lower economic status. Most are usually minorities and students of color. What they mostly need from our school system is empathy. Because they are marginalized students, they haven't been given the same resources that other priveledged students have received. They also need great teachers, it's very important that the teachers are giving a valuable education to their marginalized students. It's crucial to help these students in every way possible so that they won't be limited to a good education due to their status that they can't control. All students deserve an equal and rich education regardless of what they look like or where they come from.
